Sr. Financial Analyst
JOB SUMMARY:
Capital Precast has an opening for an Sr. Financial Analyst at our San Marcos Facility. Reporting to the company CFO, the Sr. Financial Analyst is a proactive business partner, providing leadership and management of all financial activities. Working with the senior leadership team, and all departments to drive company growth and performance initiatives. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience and earn additional responsibilities as they demonstrate their skills and contribute to the growth and success of the team/company. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Analyze and interpret financial data, identify trends and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.
- Lead the forecasting process, collaborating with various departments to gather relevant information and assumptions.
- Leverage IT experience to enhance financial systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in data analysis.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to manipulate and analyze large datasets, streamline financial reporting, and create dynamic dashboards.
- Provide training and support to finance and non-finance teams on Excel best practices.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business strategies, investment decisions, and performance evaluations.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to inform financial recommendations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a financial Analyst with a focus on financial modeling, forecasting, and analytics
- Strong IT background, with experience in financial system implementation, integration, and optimization.
- Exceptional Excel skills including proficiency in complex formulae, pivot tables, and data visualization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

- Requires deadline driven high-energy individual, able to work autonomously and lead as key contributor on teams.

- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with production, purchasing, engineering, sales, quality, human resources, and other stake holders within the organization.
- Knowledge of Titan ERP software a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work Location: In-Person / On-site (Not a remote position)
- Work in an office environment, sitting for extended periods of time.
- Must be comfortable in a construction products manufacturing environment.
- Plant includes: moving machinery and equipment, possible electrical hazards, confined spaces, and a noisy environment.

- Monday-Friday (daytime only)
- 8 hour shifts
- Overtime may be available
- Some weekends as needed
